Welcoming New and Existing Patients

Hope Wellness Center offers free, non-emergency services to uninsured Delawareans over the age of 18 and who are living at or below 300% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.

Services are provided by volunteer medical and dental providers and service providers in a professional, clinic-based setting. Appointments only--no walk-ins accepted.

We do NOT provide emergency services. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 9-1-1 or visit your nearest emergency room or urgent care center.

Our family medicine services provide comprehensive primary care for adults, focused on prevention, wellness, and managing ongoing health needs. We offer compassionate, patient-centered care to help you stay healthy at every stage of life.

Women's Health

Our women's health services provide comprehensive, compassionate care across all stages of life. We offer routine gynecological care, screenings, and preventative services in a respectful, private, and supportive environment where your comfort, dignity, and well-being always come first.

Dental Care

Community Support Services

Our dental services help patients maintain health, comfortable smiles through preventative and restorative care. We offer exams, cleanings, fillings, and extractions all in a compassionate and judgment-free environment.

Community Support Services

Through a partnership with Amanecer, Hope Wellness Center is proud to provide support services that include assistance with basic needs, document translation and completion, assistance with the Medicaid process, and legal services advocacy and coordination.

PATIENT information

Patients must pass the following criteria to receive services.

Patient must be 18 years or older and have proof of resident in Delaware.
Patients must have no insurance, Medicaid, or Medicare for the services needed (e.g. if you have medical insurance without dental insurance, you may qualify for dental care).
Patients must have income at or below 300% of Federal Poverty Guidelines.

Preparing for Your Visit

Please bring the following documents with you to your appointment.

Valid/not expired ID.
Proof of Delaware residency (utility bill, phone bill, lease agreement, etc. with your name on it. If you live in a shelter, bring a letter confirming you live there).
Pay stubs, SNAP benefits, SSI benefits, unemployment benefits.
If you have no income, bring your most recent federal tax return.
Medicaid denial letter dated within the past 6 months.

Cancellations, No Shows, and Lateness

Please call our office at (302) 735-7551 if you are running late for your appointment. We will try our best to accommodate you, but may need to reschedule.

Please call at least 24 hours in advance if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment.

If you do not show up to your appointment, you will be considered a "no show." If you have 3 no shows, you will be ineligible for services for 12 months.
